Therefore; if you are a student, we advise you to always visit this page and see current and or upcoming competitions.

G.I.C founded this program to foster excellence in student writing within
Uganda and beyond, to develop computer literacy and critical thinking skills,
and to connect young people from Uganda to the outside World through their common love of writing.

Students can post their original writing to our writer's page. They then have the opportunity to read the postings of other students and send constructive cristisms to form a thread. Once students receive this feedback from their peers, they can edit their work and post a final version. An online editorial board, made of teachers around the city chooses best writers.

Students participate in writing competitions and win prizes, get recognized and also may get sponsorship through participating. Members and non members can participate but only Registered members receive prizes.

Winners in writing competitions receive prizes and also get published here, including their name, age, education level, his/her picture, school name and school address plus a school picture (optional)
